Quick Blog #1 "Secrets"

Evening! I'm gonna do two really quick blogs b/c I need to get some rest tonight but these things are on my mind stemming from a conversation that I just had with a young man...

The first thing I want to talk about is secrets. As young women, we all have our secrets. But I would like to focus on the secrets that you have not told another SOUL in this world. Which could very well be the same secret you may have told someone but wish like hell that you had not. And pray that it never gets out to anyone else because it is something you feel is personal and should've been kept to yourself.
Now, there are some women who are secretive by nature. They keep themselves guarded, they keep their actions under wraps. Even the women closest to them don't know a whole lot of what they have going on. These women may come off as sneaky and may very well be...or they could just be very private people.
Other women have grown and matured enough to be cautious of how much of their business they tell and to whom, though they haven't always been this way, they are now this way through experience and age. Either way, we all have our secrets.
...Now I'll get to my point. I want you to think about a secret that you haven't told a soul....ask yourself why you haven't....is it because you feel it's not as bad as others would think so you'd prefer to just keep it to yourself...or is it because it IS that bad, or maybe even worse?

Are you protecting yourself...or ashamed?? Think about it.

Watching the show has really inspired me further...
One thing that I am realizing is that it truly takes a certain personality to excel in personal entrepreneurial endeavors. There are women of all ages who are making such a huge mark on society, I want nothing more than to do the same.......The key to showing your greatness to the world????

Product of the Week

The weeks have slipped on by, but I have chosen a product for this week. I have actually chosen an entire product line because I have seen and heard only good things about it. Here's a pic ----^

The Pureology line is 100% Vegan and was created sulfate-free before it became so popular to do so. It is marketed as an excellent color care line, which it is. However, it is also excellent for adding nutrients and moisture to chemically treated and natural hair as well. The line consists mostly of shampoos and conditioners and just a few styling products. It leaves the hair soft, in good health, and smelling very good.

Just pick the set that targets whatever problems you're having with your hair and you should be satisfied with the results.

Think about it... true beauty comes from within. It begins with your personal peace, your joy, your happiness and your being content.
In my opinion (disclaimer lol), if you are not in a good place, if you have not found what brings you these things in life, if your spirit is unsettled or filled with envy/deceitfulness, etc etc. then no amount of make-up or nice hair-do's will suffice. You will deep down feel that you are not beutiful or good enough.
In turn, that will be reflected out to others in different ways...none of which give off the aura of inner beauty.
I mean, we've all met people who's attitudes stink so bad that they become the most unattractive people ever right? That's not who we wanna be...
Sooo, in conclusion, it's best to find your inner peace (my God and His Son are a GREAT means ;), family and other loved ones. Tap in on who and what you are blessed with and go from there. Life is too short to feel "unpretty".

Once the inside is taken care of...the outside is merely a playground...

Love took a detour....
